They do not totally eliminate all risks but reduce most serious risks like severe covid19 and death.
Plse get vaccinated to reduce risks

The reason why the vaccine used are not working well is because Pfizer and Moderna are mRNA that is not the fully inactivated virus. USA did not want to lose out to China yet again in another race.
And USA somehow is blocking inactivated pathways while diverting people to all go on the mRNA path...
