one should do all the analysis before buying what novel events happens after that we cannot predict. No matter how good a stock is we should not be so fanatical to over invest. There is a possibility of a business doing badly due to competition and regulatory risk which is moderately high for Alibaba so we should not underestimate the risk.
Also I would not be finding comfort that Munger invested, Munger is a billionaire and invested tens of millions. Even if he is wrong it will hardly move q needle on his wealth.
For me now I am buying the HS Tech Index as it has fallen to levels with potentially very good future returns so I do not have to take the additional risk of individual stocks. I will take good returns with lower risk over potentially spectacular returns at higher risk.
