Many Sinkies still have an outdated view of China and its products. They need to go to China and see for themselves how modern China has become. Their major cities of Beijing and Shanghai can challenge this red dot. Their transportation system is just as good if not better. To be fair, the China trains are of a good quality now. They got their experience from trial and error and hence the past accidents they had. In fact some current MRT trains are already MIC. Those breakdowns that we see are often "signaling faults" caused by French company Alstom's equipment.

China made but Japanese/ German brand products have met some standards.

It can be used, the functions are there, it looks good but the quality is still different.

I have seen same brands but made in different countries products, even the noise of the metal or the thickness of the plastic sounds different.
