Washington — Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Sunday that NATO members have the go-ahead to send fighter jets to Ukraine as the U.S. and allies continue their efforts to help Ukraine defend itself against Russia's invasion.

Very important that Russia cannot win this war of invasion. Otherwise, all small nations especially Singapore is at risk of being invaded in the future. Only typical communist will support big country to invade small country.

The US plan is for Poland to send Ukraine its Migs, which the US would replace with F-16s.

But if the Poles are crazy to do it, this is what I think they will do, to avoid being targeted by Russia as a participant.
Poles debadge their Migs. Put in Ukr badge. Fly them to the nearest airbase. Ukr pilot take over.
There is serious problem to this.
1. All 16 airbases are under Russ control & / or bombed. A makeshift airstrip somewhere near the Poland border nd to be constructed. Migs can land anywhere even on grass strip. But refueling, repairs, rearming?
2. The minute they enter Ukr airspace, Russ will strike them mid air or on land to make an example for all to see.
So these are no good options. Except, they make use of Poland airbase. But that means Poland entering the war against Russ.

I used to ask myself: Why not Russia?
After seeing how Russia flopped in this invasion of Ukraine, I have stopped asking.
Russia's military power was grossly over-estimated.
Putin should have kept his poker game on, and let everybody think that he has a powerful army.
By invading Ukraine, he pawned himself and let the world realise that the Russians ain't really that good fighters...except that they have WMD which they dare not use anyway.
