I see the Chinese authorities combing the hillside areas for thee blackbox for China Eastern plane..
For MH370 after hundreds of millions still cannot find...
Why not have virtual black box?
1. Equip every plaane with Starlink terminal link to ground servers
2. Upload in real time flight and telemetry data that is recorded by the current black boxes.
3. Keep both the virtual and actual black boxes to back up each other.
4. For national security each country should maintain their own recording servers .
In today's world even our photos are backed up in Google cloud. Should we lose our phones a copy is recoverable.
The technology is already there for a virtual black box.
