already said 100x here, If Dow plunges, HSI & SSE will dive down much more.
Dow & HSI both down together 1000 pts, in term of percentage, who tumble more? LOL LOL.
HSI & SSE already crash till buay jin chu, in term of individual stocks, many already can write off.

Use common sense can know where Dow is headed.

Dow and S&P500 rose sharply because of interest rate cut and money printing. Now reverse has happened so market will reverse it's gains to before rate hikes and QE. Then it also has to factor in addition losses due to coming recession.

So let's see:

1. It has to go below 30,000 level.
2. Add another 10% loss due to weakening economy we have 27000.

If you want to enter and get good long term returns you should do so by entering as low as possible....don't go in prematurely.

US market up a bit some people will cheer "worst is over" . The market rarely make things obvious so you can get out easily. Intermittent 1000pts drop then stop rise a little maybe for a few days to keep hopes warm.

But simple fact is US market is very high even after recent drops.

Here is the US 10yr yield whose fall drop money into stock market has risen to 3%. If Fed keep pushing up rates you can lock in returns of 3.5% to 4% risk free. Means bonds will compete with equity for money.

We haven't even consider effects of a potential recession which will drive down earnings.

The US market is just not good place to be invested as it is high and factors are building up against it.

No need to shout crash crash like a mad man. A week ago I posted US market will drop 1000pts a day as it broke key levels. After this it will try to hold but will sink down over time.

The market is expecting Fed to remove or delay the interest rate hike as well as monetary tightening tonight. They argued that there is a liquidity shortage causing investors to sell the bonds and yield to rise. There is also the surprising fall in 1st quarter GDP. The US stock markets have readied themselves to take off tonight after Fed's announcement. But, it is expected that this will not happen for some obvious reasons and Fed always has its own set of data which might indicate otherwise. Let's see how the market will play out tonight after Fed has had its FOMC meeting. They might keep the interest rate hike and loosen a bit on the monetary tightening.

As expected, Fed kept the interest rate hike. It also kept the monetary tightening but @ baby step space. It also downplay the chance of a 0.75 % point rate increase. Did not expect the market to react so violently and jumped more than 2%. DOW was up almost 1,000 points.

Sharp rise knee jerk relieve rally.
What next? Rising rates end of QE means liquidity drying up.investors have fund to keep pushing the Dow up?

It will just weaken after the short covering surge and back to down trend. It is not cheap anyway especially if one accounts for rising rates

Instead of cheering investors who miss the chance to exit should do so during this window of opportunity.
