Why Spore banks never raise interest rates? Only adjust exchange rate? Like that how to fight high inflation?

The new standard variable interest rate for owner-occupiers paying principal and interest will be 5.30 per cent for the CBA customers.

Wow 5.3% interest. Home owners have to prepare to pay this type of jnterest rates
