Do people die of or with Corona? The question has been discussed for months - despite the actually clear autopsy results. An overview of what is known about the course of the disease, prognosis and death dates - and where the knowledge gaps are.

Can it really be ruled out that a significant proportion may not have died from, but only with the coronavirus? That the real cause of death wasn't a heart attack, cancer, a parachute crash that just happened to coincide with the positive test?

If you talk about these questions with Bertram Häussler, the chairman of the management of the Berlin IGES Institut GmbH, and Stefan Kluge, the head of the intensive care medicine at the Hamburg University Hospital Eppendorf (UKE), you get apparently two completely different answers.
