Don't forget, French Airbus got multi-billion USD contract of 292 aircraft and US Boeing got not a single aircraft.
Also don't forget, US and UK robbed away French contract with Australia to build submarines.
So, it would be stupid for France to co-operate with US and get bullied by US.

Admit it. More and more will move further from US especially even US Boeing also not get one air liner from China.
Now Aussie also want to improve relation with China. If not, Aussie can't sell iron ore, red wine, beef, prawn, etc. People will kick out the gov in the next election .
