When to Apple instead of changing the battery they want to change to a new phone at a reduced price. Time wasted. One and a half days. Nothing done.
Change iPhone 6 battery before at Sim Lim before. cost $40. Time spent 10 mins. The phone is still working.

Never heard of. So far changed IPhone and Huawei batteries. Both worked smoothly and still working after 2 years.

This means any phones introduced in 2016 or earlier, including the iPhone 6S, iPhone SE and iPhone 7, won't be getting Apple software updates anymore. It's not an unexpected move, given that the company regularly retires software support on older devices.
Iphone 6 plus still can work.
To be clear, if you have an older device, it and all your apps should continue to work for now even without the update with all the shiny new features.
But since you won't be getting new iOS updates, that could leave your device vulnerable to hacks and malware because software updates also often include patches for bugs.
Apple may continue to offer some security updates to these older devices, as it's done with iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 devices.

this one first you need to have skills , electronics stuffs and experience repair phone before.
next sometime is just " hit and miss " come individual at home fixing phone. Partly you don't have those " standard machine " to Diagnostics on Your smart phone ". of course you can make it work but can last longer is another thing this is why I claim " hit and miss ' maybe lucky you make it work last longer maybe just work for one week break down again
This is why those repair shop offer min One month warranty after service.

Actually, the battery is a rechargeable battery. Let them change is easier. Look for those that changed a lot of them.

if I go out I got bring battery pack in my bag so I think back is ok.
I think why people get new phone sometimes feel phone is old so just buy new phone instead change battery.

I got the money to change just less than 100 bucks but what for as I always bring bag go out inside got battery pack just recharge.
if low.
Also good in the sense, I can spend less time browse my phone aimless outside. I see most people like aimless looking their phone be it in MRT, Public transport etc . Is like slave to phone like that.

Stabilizing issue is mainly due to data signal not stable.
Did the handphone repair shop, use oscilloscope to check all the important output signal waveforms especially power components are functioning properly. If never provide this check, better dont let them repair.
SMT components are very small and easily drop off. A missing capacitor still not so bad, a missing resistor may make the handphone malfunction.

Honestly speaking ever since I grow up own pager to mobile phones to now smart phones. I don't really like to repair , replace parts. If cannot work, or degraded I go change a new one. Last time I very mad about latest electronic gadget always change the latest one but as I grow older, i feel is not necessary.
Why now I never change to new iPhone because I don't like that " notch in front the screen " I happen to see the latest iPhone 14 which going to showcase in Apple event coming soon and on sale as usual on Sept. Pre order.
That notch Still there but it smaller. I know Apple already remove that " ugly notch on the screen on top " just that they slowly release it.
MAYBE for next year new iPhone launch or 2024 who knows. But surely that " notch " can be remove.
