Sorry hor...no big country will ever be "quiet".

The reason Indonesia seems less "noisy" is because Western media aren't interested in this country unless there are terrorist attacks or disasters like volcano eruptions, earthquakes or forest fire....or wants it to be more anti-China.

The fun fact, however, is SG had an (undeclared) War with that country during our early days of independence.

Indonesia indeed has the potential to be a strong power in Asia, probably surpassing Singapore. Their problem now is what will come after Joko.

Yes. It was an undeclared war as Indonesia did not recognised SG-MY independence.
We were involved in counter insurgency waged against the Indonesian military in M'sian jungle and in SG (1965 bombing at Orchard road)

Sorry hor...it seems TS has a very broken knowledge of Indonesia and its history with SG.
Even after I shared a fact we were at war with Jakarta during the most vulnerable time in the 1960s. TS continue to keep his head buried in the sand.
What can I do ? Perhaps recommend him to readsome books about those era...Here is one available at NLB.

As for our Indonesian friends? Well that's another source of investment opportunity unlike what we have with JB.
