I think in China that plate of veg in any high class restaurant also won't cost more than S$6.

Restaurant? Order that time got price shown on menu? Last time got one is near casino opposite sell Sultan fish SUPER EXPENSIVE!!!! That's daylight robbery. I ate a full plate of kai-lan almost everyday but cooked at home. One packet from Sheng Siong cost around $1.50 can serve one big plate. ....
