The pedestrian that was hit look at the other pedestrian crossing and follow.  I think that is how he got hit without realizing there is a taxi approaching on his side of the road.

At a pedestrian crossing you start to cross when pedestrians on the other side of the road start to cross, without realizing the red man is still lighted up?

How many of you have experience this situation before?
