Musk fires Twitter employees via email - theold - 05-11-2022

A group of five previously fired employees promptly filed a class action lawsuit against Twitter. They accuse the company of not giving them 60 days' notice of the layoff, as required by law. One of the plaintiffs, who lives in California, stated that he was fired as early as November 1 without warning or severance pay.

Wow US law so good 60 days of notice for layoff? Like that during 2 months go interview other company and still continue to get paid to do that? Shiok ah

No case lah. He gave all 3 months severance. The 60 days is included within the severance.

So US don't practice one month for each year of service? 3 months means those that work a few years more worth. Those work many years rugi

u got to go immediately
60 days paid leave will be paid after 60 days later
u got to go back to the company and get the paycheck after 60 days

for what I know like my Idol Elon Musk got compensate them with some Twitter's shares .

The top even got lump sum of money while they been sack

Nevertheless Elon Musk is saving resources. He just standby for " recession " spike up suddenly wait got off guard will be even losing more.
