My children went to this stall 2weeks back at Chomp Chomp!

$4 Hokkien Mee was serve on the messy plate like this and the chilli n food portion. Ridiculous!

Plate is so messy and oily, stall guy is very rude! Portion is so unacceptable little, and the old man there keep claiming now gas increases, prawn and noodles cost increases, egg increases.. if ur costing so high then do adjustment but not serve such messy and few mouth little portion.

But this $4 for this plate, I bet no one will accept it!
My poor kid have to suck it up and eat while listening to that man in grey indirectly insulting. Saying 1 plate 2 person share!

My kid was going opposite for dinner while waiting for their queue, they drop by to have a plate of noodle with other stall bbq chicken to share.

Anyone here have more to share cause this is not the first time we encountered bad feedback from their stall from friends as well.

Must be the salted egg that hike up the price.

Noticed many cai png stall, especially those teow chiew theme one, like to charge very exp for the salted egg, normally ish cost more than the steam egg with minced meat dish one.

Another possible culprit ish the pork chop, this one some stalls also will charge more than normal meat dish.

Don't think it matter where they got their eggs, it seem to be kind of SOP. Many such stalls will charge the salted egg as meat dish price or even a special dish price. (ie normally 50c or $1 more than meat dish depending on stalls)

So unless really love to jiak the salted egg, else may not be worth it to order this dish.

At changi hospital foodcourt. The price of Salted egg chicken was broken down into 2 charges; $1.50 for salted egg and $2 for chicken. So it is $3.50 if you pick this option

Some of the Teochew porridge stalls are very pricey.
Pork chop prices vary widely, suspect that it’s the main culprit.

HKM , I used to pay $4.50, them $5. But price has probably gone up. Haven't bought from that stall for months , maybe a year... cos became not nice. Increased price, but decreased in tastiness

One salted egg cost how much ? One normal egg cost how much?
That's why they charge more for salted egg.
And yes, pork chop itself already a few dollars , even before this year of inflation

 the bloody pork chop costs $3.salted egg $1, 2 vege 1$ each, porridge 0.70.

if you order chick, vege will be cheaper. 

dont greedy about fish, pork trotter that kind of things. you can eat them at home DIY.

Had to wait for almost half an hour for it by which time I was famished. Due to extreme hunger it tasted yummy! If I wasn’t hungry it wouldn’t have tasted good, maybe just average. 
Most importantly it filled the tummy, there are many that are not nice and not filling.
