There is nothing wrong with LifeLong learning
But at the end, what is the point?
Is there a higher paying job?
Can our Future be better than FTs?

Lifelong learning for fuxks? Talent after finishing so many Skill Future courses still sitting at home with no jobs and waiting for free handouts and buffet vouchers. It would be more refreshing if some azzholes sleeping in the ivory tower can come out and study how to provide lifelong earnings for the people. ....

This is Govt’s Gambling Culture all along. You take the risk to spend time learning but they will never take action to tighten the Employment Pass for unnecessary FTs.

he Government is studying how to provide more opportunities for Singaporeans to continue upgrading their skills in order to stay relevant throughout their careers, according to Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.
However, he noted that there are downsides to having an open economy, including more competition.
“It means that there may be more churn in the workplace, it means that later on as you start work, you may see foreign professionals amongst you and
you can imagine for a Singaporean being very upset if a Singaporean is displaced, is retrenched, loses the job but the foreigner next to him keeps the job,” he said. “Understandably, there will be a lot of unhappiness there.”

This is Govt’s MOTTO again with One Country TWO Systems. We have to undergo Lifelong learning but not their FamiLee. Did Ng Chee Meng ever go through Skills Future job application or Skills Learning?
