The Ainu of Japan, numbering 13,000, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are part of the Ural-Siberian people cluster within the Turkic Peoples affinity bloc. This people group is only found in Japan. Their primary language is Japanese. The primary religion practiced by the Ainu is ethnoreligion. Ethnoreligion is deeply rooted in a people's ethnic identity and conversion essentially equates to cultural assimilation.
