In the beginning there was only Chinese New Year, then Japan, Korea and Vietnam adopted everything from China including CNY, they call it Korea New Year, Vietnamese New Year or simply Lunar New Year. Korea imitates everything from China, they adopted Chinese zodiac, festivals, culture, Hanja writing and philosophy. But now Koreans tell you everything was invented by them including Chinese writing, Confucius, Midautumn festival and many more, which is laughable. Koreans like to save face and fabricate all the lies to make them feel better.
