But some phones even when you activate volte also cannot use volte with the network.

Then I not sure Liao, or maybe the model too old. This code only works for Xiaomi, poco and Redmi brand. I use poco x3 pro and now poco m4 pro 5g code working for both phone. I might buy Redmi note 12 when it available as my Poco m4 pro 5g battery not so good Liao. Give up on poco x5 early bird $319 or poco x5 pro early bird $399 too expensive liao

Can you try *#*#4636#*#* and see if your phone is IMS registered?

That's good. This proves that it can really make volte calls. Enabling volte does not ensure that.

I using Xiaomi phones.

I can receive calls on my TPG line but I cannot call out without using their app.

Not all xiaomi models can. I bought for my maid one cannot, even though it is volte-enabled.

This is one of those instances where even though the handset is volte-capable, the handset manufacturer did not have the correct settings that enabled the phone to connect to the operator's IMS network. In short, volte-capable does not mean it can use volte with the network.

Sadly Singtel, gomo and zero1 all cannot make it... Last week till now data connection is extremely bad... Super intermittent!

simba has $5 plan too.   50% cheaper.
