According to Diesen, the most important consequence of the war for the United States is probably the effect on Russian-Chinese relations. An inevitable consequence of the simultaneity of the war and the confrontation with China is that it brings the Chinese and the Russians together.
Incidentally, I must also mention that the USA probably does not take Russia seriously as a great power. For example, a senator has previously stated that "Russia is not a great power, but a petrol station with nuclear weapons", says Diesen.
