Spillover from SVB collapse, expect some adverse reaction from retailer here tomorrow - Bluebull - 12-03-2023

Last Friday, saw massive sell down of Singapore Banks
DBS down 6.06%
OCBC down 4.99%
UOB down 5.13%
Probably knee jerk reaction, PROBABLY NOT...
So far, no Bank officials have come out to comment
So far no MAS officials have come out to calm the public
They may take things too easy, and this may backfire
Because every ordinary citizen here has some relation with each of the three banks
Be it share investment, deposit, loans, payment services etc

And among these citizens there bound to be a good number who are ignorant, naive, gullible
And are easily susceptible to market rumors, and rumors mongering
I don’t know how strong or serious the hawker centre, coffee shops, or wet market reactions are
But if the small talks are to believe
We might expect a longer than usual queues for withdrawal at the banks tomorrow

Don’t laugh, just keep your fingers crossed
That this is just a one time spur of the moment crazy reaction
From people who are easy influenced by street rumors started by people like Lau Jac

RE: Spillover from SVB collapse here... DONT LAUGH, expect some negative reaction - Bluebull - 12-03-2023

Remember the mini crisis years ago of the AIA INC collapse in America ?
It led to a mini run on the insurance companies here

Can explain why you say DBS drop 6%???

It may be too late
Already some panic has set in
Already from chat groups and WhatsApp, there are people saying they are going to withdraw money tomorrow
Some already reach their limits at ATMs
Idiot Lau Jac, knew there are many gullible that he can play a fool with
