US Blinken: Rule out negotiations between Ukraine and Russia - theold - 08-04-2023
"For some, the idea of a ceasefire may be tempting - and I understand that. But if this amounts to effectively ratifying Russia's seizure of significant Ukrainian territory, then this would not be a just and lasting peace," said US Secretary of State Antony Blinkenden Newspapers of the Funke media group and the "Ouest-France".
Russia could regroup its troops and attack again after a certain time, the minister justified his opinion. "Russia must get to the point where it is ready to engage in constructive negotiations." The goal must be a just and lasting peace.

My take is that it will be a prolonged war, between Russia and Ukraine, when US, UK and EU were to supply weapons and ammo. to Ukraine...............
