their real enemy is the ngo and xxa elements active in taiwan installing the pro war party into government.
want to fight then try to ensure fair election, so that pro war party do not get elected. taiwan people also not stupid. who do not know that if war break out the taiwan people is the one who suffers. unification means prosperity. at least taiwan people must have a fair chance to real election without ngo and xxa interference.

There ish no pro-war party in Taiwan. Only pro-unified by CCP party and the anti-unified by CCP party.
As you said, Taiwan people not stoopid like those little pink and wumao, that why majority still support the anti-unification party despise getting threaten by the bully next door day in and day out. If they give in to threats they will just become the next Xinjiang, Tibet and HK.
The only realy way for taiwanese to protect themselves ish to arm up, tighten their security and be prepare to chase out the bully if he really dare invade into their home one day.

KMT fought against the Japanese but was not their match. It decimated their army. The CCP ran away but today, they record it as a "Long March" wor.
When the Japanese tried to be funny wit the US by bombing Pearl Harbour, it ended the war this side of Earth. Indirectly, the US saved China from another long period of colonisation. The Japanese vacated China, and returned Taiwan to China, which to this day is ruled by China.
