That is why old hawker centre should just renovate and stay the way it is. These civil servants like to come out with loud design, after that the clean their hands after the project and leave the trouble to the unlucky ones. This also waste lots of public funds.

Need a landscape designer, and also redo the waterproofing- will cost a lot of money

They should think about maintenance cost before anyhow built loud project from now onwards. Hold those for making such maintenance disasters like cutting their pay and demoting them.
