尹錫悅稱美韓在長津湖戰役大勝 中國諷 : 美自己都稱「歷史上路程最長的敗退」
韓國總統尹錫悅當地時間 27 日在美國會發表演講稱，在過去一個世紀裡美國直面威脅自由的挑戰，引領捍衛自由。美海軍陸戰隊第一師在長津湖戰役中突破中共軍隊 12 萬人的人海戰術，取得了奇蹟般成果。對此，中國外交部今 ( 28 ) 日也發表了評論。
中國外交部發言人毛寧在回應記者提問時表示，她也注意到韓國領導人發表演講的相關內容。關於抗美援朝戰爭，她想強調的是，抗美援朝戰爭的偉大勝利，對中國和世界都有著重大而深遠的意義。
毛寧指出，抗美援朝戰爭用鐵一般的事實告訴世人，任何一個國家，任何一支軍隊，只要站在歷史發展潮流的對立面，恃強淩弱，倒行逆施，擴張侵略，必將碰得頭破血流。希望有關國家多做有利於世界和平和發展的事情，不要重蹈覆轍。
關於長津湖戰役，毛寧稱，根據中方戰史記載，此役共殲敵 3.6 萬人，其中美軍 2.4 萬人，包括全殲美軍一個整團，美軍第八集團軍司令沃克中將也在混亂中翻車身亡。美國國務卿艾奇遜稱之為「美國歷史上路程最長的敗退」
