Just look at Manulife reits to understand the CRE crisis in USA
They over build by borrowing after that the work from home means many office empty...no rent to collect.
No rent to collect how to pay loan?
Also I pointed out earlier many likely to have signed loan covenants to get low interest rate loans....this means once rental income falls below a threshold, lender can take the property
