Nowadays SGX 1 lot is 100 shares. So 50 lot will be 5000 x $30 = $150,000

If buy OCBC cheaper it is about $12 so 5000 x $12 = $60,000
And OCBC dividend not bad based on the share price. UOB most rugi close to $27 and lousy dividend.

You mean SGX local bank shares minimum is 10 shares ? Not 100 shares ?

It shown most are 1 lot which is 100 units aka 100 shares. Other numbers are based on what kind of SGX products you are buying. So bank stock 10 shares can buy ?

I remember they changed the min share to buy, last time is min 1000 shares and now I think you are right min 100.
nevertheless I never play stocks now a days so forget but I do remember SGX change the min lot to buy reduce it.

No. A lot of my reits are foc because I hold them for more than a decade. Play shares must first practice mental aspects. Do not follow the crowds. Nets are thrown to net them.
