Man duped into downloading fake ScamShield app - theold - 18-05-2023
The next day, someone claiming to be from his bank called and told him that there had been attempts to make transactions on his credit card. He was given a link to download ScamShield, which filters scam messages and calls from numbers used in illegal activities.
After he downloaded the second app, he realised his phone had been compromised again.

I already mention before, Scammer love those " obey Govt ones , fear Govt ones " As long they see from Govt they will obey.

Ironically the very app that was supposed to prevent scams... This syndicate or individual is challenging authorities.

They have used PM Lee and other Ministers name to scam people in the past few years. They were never caught nor punished which encouraged them to tease us more.
