" The wave is happening in the US too but nobody is testing officially to make it not show up in the reports. My city claims 3 cases per 100k population a week and I know like 5 people who had it over the span of a few weeks but many only bothered to test at home with antigen test. Its either the most unlikely sample or the 3 per 100k number is a huge underestimate. "
