Should closed long ago. They brought in the horses to race. When the horses become old, ask a Buddhist organization to take over the maintenance of the horse otherwise they will put them to sleep. What can the organization do? If refused, they are indirectly killing those old horses. If agreed, they need to raise alot of money to maintain those horses.

All these horse got owner. Owners are the one paying for the horse lodging exercise 3 meals etc in turf club. In return horse must win in races so owner earn monies. Horse cannot win owner will not want anymore most likely put to sleep. Turf club not so stupid to feed horses for free.
I am a former STC employee btw. STC is different entity from SPool but report to same father and pay monies to ensure father give them licence to operate legally.

I have a friend who paid a few hundred dollars a month to adopt a former race horse who would otherwise be killed. I just shake head. Both at her dumbness and the horse owner's evilness.
