Will Singapore ‘privately welcome’ Nato’s regional move - Scythian - 03-07-2023

Will Singapore  ‘privately welcome’ Nato’s regional move.

Nato is upgrading ties with Australia, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea to share information rather than deploy military resources, observers say
While some nations have voiced concerns, experts say most are ‘generally happy’ to see increased Western support to help balance China’s influence"

It was reported Japan has requested NATO to setup an office in Tokyo. How about in Singapore Hub?

NATO is a military organization, it means for war, why would Spore join it? Even India rejected the invitation from Biden.

Australia has a tiny military power of only 50k troops, to China Australia, NZ, Japan and SK are like a bunch of flies in the outback, noisy, annoying and useless bunch.

RE: Will Singapore ‘privately welcome’ Nato’s regional move - Niubee - 03-07-2023

I once saw retired PLA soldiers said...

If China does a total war activation, China can gather back 300m soldiers (active+reservist and not all combat roles).

Wonder i heard wrongly... but 30m is possible...
