Govt not blur rah. Obviously they knows.

just that come bank is you can choose to close or let it open seem like.

Partly maybe you don't want the hassle request, again make arrangement for Giro deduct let say , pay your house town council bill or etc bill
as the payment is done by the deceased account , so you just top up money. to pay the bill.
