My old classmate worked for CPIB, but don't know whether he is still there. He said they were always busy, lots of OT, sometimes go on raids. Wink

Maybe “ wayang “ maybe most cases reported end up nothing wrong or don’t have enough evidences etc.

If you see daily financial happening in SG compare with other countries come CEO corruptions etc down to managers , staffs tactically not say a lot.

If no much cases than CPIB ppl do what ?

CPIB reported to LHL on May but Iswaran was only told to go on leave on July. Why the lapse? Guess is for CPIB to secretly investigate without alert the suspected party (s). CPIB must have already gathered some concrete evidences in July to act pending further investigation/ questioning.

There is a distinct seriousness in Iswaran's case to ask to go on leave Vs the Ridout case with Ministers carrying on work as usual while pending investigation.
