Some US forces are still located in the northeastern Syria, such as Hassakeh and Raqqa provinces....where most of the Syrian oil fields are.

A US military vehicle (not the flag) drives in a patrol past a an oil well in Rumaylan in Syria’s northeastern Hasakeh province.
