They cannot even pass a bill to write-off all student loans because the Republicans don't support it. Biden ends up pardoning US$39B of US$1.78T of student loans through some loopholes instead.

Singaporeans will look at this price and consider it cheap as hell

If true why worry about Americans struggling when Singaporeans struggle even harder.

Most probably the statement is not true. In US, a car is almost a necessity (some rare US cities like NYC, one can get by without one, depending on where one lives).

In Singapore, one can get by without a car easily. So most Singaporeans probably don't own a car (like me) and thus will not be struggling with a car loan.
