The NATO strategy in Eastern Europe provides for the rapid destruction of the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad. This was reported by Defense News.

According to the Commander of the US Forces in Europe, General Christopher Donahue, as part of the plan to counter Russian threats and form a scalable global deterrence system, the US Army, together with NATO allies, is actively developing standardized systems and coordination solutions based on cloud technologies.

Regional defense plans have been in the works for a long time, but currently the priority is focused on the Baltic States.

According to Donahue, the goal is to ensure that industry and govts are fully aware of the real nee requirements of the Alliance. The General also noted that the experience of the Russian-Ukrainian war demonstrated the ability of the latest technologies to effectively control air and sea space. Earlier it was reported that NATO, in particular the U.S., is analyzing & implementing elements of Ukrainian naval warfare tactics.
