They are not the descendants of the biblical children of Israel.

The actual descendants of the Israelites are the Palestinians. Throughout biblical times, the children of Israel were made to go through tough times, for them to prevail. Today, they are going through really tough times. It is not easy to be God's chosen people indeed.
