🍽 Over 3,000 F&B outlets in Singapore closed in 2024 — the highest number since 2005.

However, around 3,793 new food establishments opened during the same period.

Partly due to PAP open policy rah, so they are " right " lor.

I see now even got pinoy hawker selling their pinoy foods beside the usual Malaysian , PRC, Vietnam and Thai.

Next landlord yaya due to Govt open policy, they increase the rent. Locals cannot afford to rent never mind , as there will be others waiting to take over , those are PRs hawker lor and some locals.

Many of these are children of rich parents who, after graduation dun want to work so open a cafe or food joint to feel hip. So no sympathy … thanks for contributing to the economy
