"Businesses and employees are suffering and worried about the future if WE DO NOT move forward". But how do the unvaccinated few cause the business to suffer? Now Europe has cancelled the VTL with Singapore. Not only tourists arrival/departure, many other businesses are also affected. And why did Europe cancelled the VTL?

Simple, if we have 95% vaccinated, we can unilateral open up our borders to all, no need bilateral or any VTL. Look at Thailand for example, they have no VTL. Business travellers will come as well as tourists.

And they are 59% vaccination rate based on Reuters report and they are opening up. They know if they continue to lockdown, more people will die from businesses closure than covid infection. By right, with SG at 85+% we should be open up more but the fear of those refusing to jab straining our medical system is holding us back.

Medical resources must be for those who deserve it in time in critical times.

Vaccination
Thailand has administered at least 81,761,062 doses of Vaccination

Thailand has administered at least 81,761,062 doses of COVID vaccines so far. Assuming every person needs 2 doses, that’s enough to have vaccinated about 58.7% of the country’s population.

You have not addressed how the unvaccinated few affect your company business. As you said Thailand, with only 58.7%, already open up, nobody is stopping Singapore from opening up.

Simple, my client unable sustain their business so need to cut headcount due to prolong restriction. These restrictions are due to the FACT that worries the gov those who can vax but selfishly chose not to which maybe end up infected and straining our medical resources. Our ICU is at 70-75% capacity … and ICUs are not just for covid patients.

Those unvaccinated few who can but chose not to is a LIABILITY and a BURDEN to society.

If some dumbfugg twits came out to say CoVid is a test from God, … yes to test if you are selfish or not.

I concur with your statement that those unvaccinated few who can be jabbed but refused to jab is a liability to our island republic.... Laughing
