That place is for seniors.

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 87 PAP Ministers?

This place is not worth the hype
When the ang moh took over, every thing was priced according to their fancy and they willingness to pay
Now they left
The old charm is gone
The traditional food is gone
The kampong spirit is gone
Who would want to eat the lousy hawker food ?
When Ghim Moh, Commonwealth Crescent, Margaret Drive are near by?
Even the famous bakery, you can find their bread every where in shopping centres

They price themselves out of business!

I have not been there for years!

Last time used to go there for some nice beef noodle. Price was reasonable but not sure when it started to go up and up and up!  Cool

The whole place lost it's charm after the new mall and condos came up.

The leasehold integrated condo was launched at around,$2000 psf. Now $3000 to $3500 psf

Feng shui runs around. Now most of the diners move to the nearby One Holland Village Mall where there are better food and drinks there. Those old dirty looking shop houses are no longer attractive.   Big Grin

That's  the One Holland Village Mall comprising of low storey buildings spreading over the old car park space.    Big Grin

Should be this one. Never been there. No wonder I was thinking for so long what it is. Come up with Holland V Food Centre instead.
