One can compare the above data with my previous post on covid deaths posted on 17 Dec (a fortnight ago):

One can see that it is getting worse for Japan, USA, Brazil, Germany (less so), France, South Korea (less so), Hong Kong (was not on the previous list), Hungary (not on the previous list). Russia's number was about the same.

Colombia and Peru dropped off from the top 10 list.
