Here's why people click on sms with Phishing links by scammers

The answer is simple. Many govt dept businesses and organisations still send clickable links and say you have to click on it to get things done

Because it is used by govt and many companies, people will habitually click on them.

When scammers send they can't really tell ot is From a scammer so they click.
