Very different. There's snow in the mountains. Architecture also different. Food also etc etc.

Switzerland is naturally endowed with cool , cold weather, pretty scenic snowy mountains, valleys, clean rivers n mostly green with flowers, plants, trees ....all picture portrait.
Their pop of variois european countries is small with huge land mass...no where is crowded, locals n tourists simply love its clean cool air.
But if u go to the local areas, u will see lots of peoole smoking n cigerettes butts all over the place...like rural china.
Food is v expendive ...cheapest is fried rice selling at the rail ststions, costing $15 per pack...n the toilet fee is $4/. just to pee... wages, taxes , cost living v high , std of living high too....impossuble to have low cost living n high living stds..anywhere in the world! B realistic, life is a trade off, u wud need a fine yin yang balance to achieve optimum living

last time I went there, on the way down the mountain from "top of the world", I took some pictures randomly from the train.

you know what happened next?   each photo turned out to be postcard photo standard.

someone claims that it is hard to take a lousy photo there.

Switzerland scenary is not bad. If want a so called getaway from stress, can consider staying there for a week. But for ladies, the only shopping are watches unlike Paris and Italy.

Switzerland is expensive but it's doable to visit 10-14 days for sgd3000. Just book hotels with breakfast and eat full full every morning. Avoid eating at restaurants. Use a rail pass. Go hiking which is mostly free.

I went to Subway in Germany, only one staff serving people & taking payment, very slow.
