yeah - SZ-16 marks the 1st time in China's human spaceflight to launch a civilian into space.
He is Gui Haichao, 桂海潮 a bespectacled 30ish Yunan-born associate professor from Beijing College of Air transportation and Astronautics.
He was selected from 2500 candidates for the 6-months mission payload specialist on the Tiangong space station.

Hope the Chinese can find new and cheap source of energy.

Already found - Fusion technology. Now they are looking for ways to mind and extract certain elements from the Moon that is essential for that process...
