It is so amazing highly educated ppl can fall into scams. Love scam prey on human emotional aspects not logical aspects hence scammers use this same trick for centuries I think.

People are bereft of love. But haven't there been enough of such love scams???

我女友上个星期在Marina Bay碰到一个自称刚从伦敦回来的新加坡人。他高高瘦瘦 戴着一副眼镜 一表斯文。但看不清长相因为他戴了帽子和口罩。
他上前搭讪。 一边指着戴在手腕上的表针 一边问道Marina Bay从早上9点到晚上9点会热闹吗？ 哦 原来是Rolex 金表。应该是很旧款的烂摊表的吧 然后又透露自己住在（附近）的公寓。朋友打量他，衣服是Boss的，皮包是Fendi的。他就是那么的做作 想让朋友知道他是有钱的 

他向朋友要了电话号码和wechat，说如果他有Marina Bay或马来西亚旅游的问题 会联络她。
我朋友不动声色 礼貌从容应对 心里却一直在翻白眼。
会有哪个入世未深或desperate的笨女人成为他fake rich的猎物呢？
