Mark Zukerber has 1 good reason not to stop  WhatsApp from being used by Scam operators... Big Grin

Meta products such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram were among the top online platforms that scammers exploited, which accounted for nearly half of the scam cases in 2023 and resulted in losses of S$280 million.

Why not ?  When oppie fails in their duel diligence then  I would vote for the PAP

Meta/FB continue to yaya-papaya and refuse to fight against crime - I long ago removed the Whatsapp from my mobile and de-register my Whatsapp account

It was such a relief no more scam msg and calls after that ! Big Grin

Good is just as bad. Look at teh number of scams in YouTube ads including one got who claim he can teach you to double your money in crypto ...another who prompted stable returns using options...etc.

No matter how you report these ads they are still around.
