Actually DPP party has been carrying out 秋後算帳 ever since they took office in 2016. They have started those going after KMT's many policies which resulted them to have caused KMT having to give up their reserves, etc.
So in my opinion, with the recent loses it is just the beginning and once the Presidential election with DPP loses again. Then we will see a massacre of DPP, because apart from KMT, I believe a few other opposition parties will also be joining the bandwagon to go after DPP.
This is especially so during this recent elections.
