TPP won so many seats because it criticised both DPP and KMT….its leader is an opportunist, since neither DPP nor KMT has majority in parliament TPP will play a big role in the next 4 years, it will sometimes support DPP sometimes support KMT to fight the other party.

Although TPP lost the election but it managed to attract young voters from pro-DPP camp as it addresses the real issues such as high youth unemployment, unaffordable properties, low wages and war or peace with China. TPP is only 4 years old, it is considered as a great achievement, it may overtake KMT and become 2nd largest party in Taiwan in the near future.

Moi don't think this ish DPP victory, their new president only get 40% mandate nia and they actually lose so many legislators seats this time. Moi can already see how CCP will claim this mean 60% of Taiwanese want to reunite with AT land and want to cut ties with the evil US.

Not to mention if both the pro-red's blue and white party really can cooperate together and control the house, moi think next 4 years Taiwan will be having a hard time getting thing done, many of their economy, nation defenses and foreign policies won't be as smooth as like the past 8 years liao as CCP sure want both the blue and white to block this and that, many of their pro-Taiwan policies sure ganna sabotage dip dip.

Moreover this time many of the legislator seats even ganna won back either by their black gold power or those already committed to be corrupted officials. This may mean even more corruptions for Taiwan in years to come.

So really don't understand why those dpp supporters are celebrating, winning the president seats nia don't mean any $hit when their legislating power had actually been weakened, to moi their hard time may have just started with this weaker new presidency. Moi think their economical miracles in the past 8 years may finally come to a halt or even getting a downturn in the next 4 years. Would be interesting to see the Taiwan stock on Monday to see how their market would really react to this 'victory'.

There was a time when the country asked ordinary men to do extraordinary things.

But now, they'll only do it for money.
