Thailand's cases give us a indication:
Travellers from the United Kingdom registered the most infections with 78, followed by the United States (62), Russia (35), and Germany and France (25 each), CCSA data from Dec 1-22 showed.

The UK as a nation is hugely responsible for prolonging the pandemic. They gave the world the alpha variant. Sent all their goondus who broke covid rules all over the world. Was an early hotbed of delta variant. Now spreading omicron everywhere.

If Omicron is many times more transmissible than Delta, it is likely in the community already. But it could be so mild that people just treat it as flu. Thus the low number of cases.
