The Fed decided to raise the key interest rate by 0.75% at the FOMC meeting held on the 1st and 2nd, raising the US benchmark interest rate from 3.0 to 3.25% to 3.75 to 4.0%. If you look at the upper end of the US base rate, it is a 1.0 percentage point increase from the Korean standard rate of 3.0%. Accordingly, the strong dollar is expected to continue for the time being.
